2010
May 16th:
I have w played the two first tournaments of the season. I started off with a DQ in Fjallbacka. It happened on the first hole after I used my "range finder" both on the 1st tee and the approach. I was not aware that it was not permitted, and the mistake had already been done, so that was the end of the season opener.
Two days later I shot a 64 (-9) in the opening round of the Ecco Tour, Jeld-Wen Masters. I had a three shot lead over the field after the first day. Unfortunately, day two was tougher. i teed off i the afternoon in the final group, and the weather was really bad. Strong winds and rain made the playing conditions a lot tougher than in the morning. I started off decent, but collapsed on hole 9. I shot an 83, and barely made the cut. In the final day i had a bad start with a double bogey right off the bat. I made the turn +3, but was able to play two under on the back 9 for a 74(+1).
Video Interview after the first round of the Ecco Tour

2009
November 20th:
I have just started practicing again after a well needed break. Everything feels great, and I am excited about getting started with the 2010 season. Right now, I am working on some swing changes, fitting new clubs, and planning and mapping out a schedule for next year. For now, the plan is to work on basic techniques here in Norway until the end of January, and then I will leave for Spain to play the Hi5Pro Tour for two months.
October 19th:
I tee off tomorrow at 10.20 from hole 10 on New Course Himmerland, for the first round of the Ecco Tour Q. School. Follow me on the LIVE SCORING.
October 3rd:
I have now finished the Q School for the SAS Masters Tour 2010. It was played on one of the toughest courses I have played, and in very rough conditions. I had troubles on hole #1 and #10 on the course, but besides from the scores I made on those two holes I played very good golf. It was those two holes that kept me from having a good chance of winning the tournament. My ball-striking was better than ever, and I ended in a tie for 15th. That gives me a good status on the SAS Masters Tour in 2010, and I am exempt for most of the tournaments. I would like to give a big thanks my coach Martin Johannisson for traveling down with me and caddying for me. It was greatly appreciated. I also have to thank my mental coach Steinar Lunde for all his help and support. I look forward to an exciting 2010 season with both of you. I also have to thank my dad for traveling with us as good support, and Pelle Larsson for lending us his house in Baskemolla, right next to the course.
October 1st:
Day two of the SAS Masters Tour QS was played in very tough conditions. Strong winds, 6 degrees (C) and hail made the scores a lot higher than day one. I continued day two with the good ball-striking I had during the first round. Unfortunately, I had a quad on my 10th hole (hole #1), where I hit two balls OB, and I also had a late double bogey. I finished the day with a 81, and I am in a tie for 14th. It is only 6 strokes up to the leader, and two strokes to 6th. I feel good about my game and the teamwork between me and my coach (Martin Johannisson, who is caddying for me this tournament), and I am confident that I will post a good number tomorrow if I stay patient and stick to my game plan.
I played the first round of the SAS Masters Tour QS today. The course is 6700 meters (7300 yards), par 71, links style, with firm and difficult green areas. It is very important to play smart and to be patient out there. I played smart today, and it was a good ball-striking day, however, I still got some bad breaks on the front nine, and I had to pay for some sloppy mistakes. But I turned it around on the back nine. After making a three-putt double bogey on hole 10, i made three straight birdies and one more on hole 16 for a back nine 34, and a 73 total. This is good enough for a tie for fifth place after the first round. MY SCORE. Live Scoring.
Tomorrow is the first round of the QS for the Swedish SAS Masters Tour 2010. I am playing Osterlen Golf Club (Djupadal Course). I have spent the last two days practicing and playing with my coach (Martin Johannisson), and I feel well prepared for the tournament. It is a cut after two days, and everybody making the cut gets a category for 2010. However, top 13 gets good playing privileges for the whole 2010 season. I tee off tomorrow morning at 08.00. Live Scoring.
September 20th:
Today was a good day on the course. I did as I predicted yesterday and posted a good number. I shot 65 today, and sat a new course record. I played solid all day with five birdies and an eagle on hole 17. Unfortunately I made my only bogey for the day on the 18th. But i am very happy with how I played today, and even though it was not enough to win, I still had a -3 total and a 3rd place finish. Final Results. My Scorecard.
September 19th:
I played solid golf today. Unfortunately, my putter was running very cold. I had 34 putts today, including a four-putt and a three-putt. I was in it after just making back-to-back birdies on 12 and 13, but then i four-putted number 14 and hit a lost ball off the tee on hole 15 (back-to-back doubles). I shot a 74 and is in a tie for 7th place. I am only four shots of the lead, so maybe a good post tomorrow can take it home.
September 18th:
I am playing the Galvin Green Tour Finally this weekend on Hakadal GK. This will be my last tournament in Norway this season, and also the last tournament before the QS for Ecco Tour and SAS Masters Tour. I tee off tomorrow (Saturday 19th) 08.50. Follow the LIVE SCORING.
September 6th:
I am back from a tough week in Denamark. I had an unlucky draw for the first round, playing in the morning group. We played in strong winds and rain, which made the course play really difficult. I still shot a 72, which I was very happy with. The afternoon group played in sunny weather and very little wind, which made the course a lot easier. My 72 still held to a good position after the first day. Day two was played in really strong winds the whole day (about 15m/s). I got of to a really bad start, being six over par through five holes. I played good from there on in, but i shot 78 and missed the cut by four strokes. I had four three putts on friday, which was the biggest reason for me not playing the final day. However, I feel my game is getting better, and that I am getting better at adapting to different conditions, which hoefully will help me in the QS for the SAS Masters Tour and the Ecco Tour later this fall.
September 2nd:
I am playing the Ledreborg PGA Championship on the Ecco Tour this week. The first round starts tomorrow (September 3), and I tee off 9.30 from hole 1. Live scoring
September 1st:
I played 75-74-72 in my Club Championship. The conditions were pretty though, with strong winds and soaking fairways. My score held to a 13 shot victory. Live Scoring
August 28th:
I am teeing off tomorrow morning 8.30 a.m for the first round of the Club Championship on Mork Gk, and 14.00 for the second round. Third and final round will be played after position on sunday the 30th. Follow the Live Scoring.
August 22nd:
I just finished T3 at the Region Tour on Kjekstad GK. I Played the tournament mostly to get tournament practice. I am in the middle of some minor changes in my swing and putting, and wanted to practice it in a tournament situation. Yesterday was very tough. I did not trust my swing, and even though the course is short, it is fairly tricky with a lot of blind shots. I did not play a practice round, so poor shots and bas judgement lead to an opening round 76. Today was better, and even though my game is not where i want it to be yet, I still hit some quality shots and played 67 (even par). (FINAL RESULTS) (MY SCORECARD)
August 21st:
I tee of saturday morning 10.20 at Kjekstad GK, Region Tour. I decided to play this event in order to get as much tournament practice as possible before the fall season. Follow the Live Scoring.
August 15th:
I Just got back form Denmark, after missing the cut at JELN-WEN Masters. My game was not good enough, and the 20-30 mph (10-15 m/s) wind really emphasized every mistake. I played 82-82, hitting too many bad shots, and missing about every put. However, I did feel I learned a lot about playing in strong winds, and know what aspects of my game I have to improve. I will practice hard, and be better prepared for the next tournament.
August 12th:
I'm playing the Ecco Tour, JELD-Wen Masters, on Logstor Golf Club this week. I arrived yesterday and played a practice round. Nice course, but it is windy here. Today will just be a practice day, before I tee off for the first round 08.50 on Thursday. Follow me on the Live Scoring.
July 20th:
Yesterday was the last day of the Norwegian Championship for Teams (Lag NM), and we played 18 holes singles (click for results). The conditions were a lot tougher than it was the two first days, with cold weather, rain and wind. We knew we had a challenge in front of us, but after a long day we (Mork GK) ended up in 10th place, and we kept our place in division 1. We are happy with our efforts, and look forward to next years competition.
July 16th:
Today we (Mork GK) will play our practice round for Lag-NM on Atlungstad, and the tournament starts tomorrow. The schedule looks like this:
Friday: 18 holes (foursome), (18 holes best ball)
Saturday: 18 holes (foursome), 18 holes (best ball)
Sunday: 18 holes (single)
We have a new and young team this year, which hopefully will draw a lot of experience from this event, and help Mork GK excel in the future. I am unsure of my possibilities to keep you guys updated thru the weekend, but you can follow this link for scoring and information: Atlungstad GK
The OPGT on Kjekkstad GK 13-14 is cancelled because of too few players. Lets hope more players sign up for the next OPGT on Losby GK 20-21 July. My Next tournament, however, will be the Norwegian Championship for teams division 1 (Lag NM, 1 divisjon), on Atlungstad GK July 17-19.
July 4th:
Oslo Pro Golf Tour is a great initiative made by Kevin Porn. The OPGT is established to provide better players in Norway with more competitive training, and to host tournaments in a time when most tours in Scandinavia are on summer break. OPGT's first event on Hauger GK 6-7 July, was cancelled because of too few players. If you are interested in playing in the next event on Kjekkstad GK 13-14 July, or know someone who might be, follow this link to the OPGT web page: www.osloprogolftour.com
June 28th:
I played the last round of the Regions Tour today. I got of to a good start with birdies in the first two holes. After five birdies, I made the turn three under par. I gave away a good birdie opportunity on hole ten before i went six over par in the next three holes, with a nine on the par five 12th. Stupid mistakes made the tournament a lot closer then necessary, but birdies on 15 an 16, and a last round 73 (+1), gave me a five shot victory with the combined total of 142 (-2). I made seven birdies today, and six yesterday, which leads me to think that I am close to some really good rounds. I hit 5/13 fairways, 12 greens and had 29 putts today.
June 27th:
I played the first round of the Regions Tour on Mork GK today. I got of to a got start with three birdies in the first five holes. A couple of stupid mistakes followed, with a bogey from 50 meters on hole six as one example. I kept it together and shot an opening round 69 (-3), which gives me a four shot lead. I felt that I could have gone a lot lower today, but tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities. I hit 7/13 fairways, had 14 GIR, and 30 putts.
June 21:
I teed off 8.20 this morning for the final round of the tournament. Got of to a bad start with two sloppy bogeys on the first three holes. I got it together, and made the turn one under par. Continued to play ok, but a three put and some loose shots resulted in a final round 72 (+1), and a T36 finish. Feels like the game is getting better, and I am looking forward to the next tournament. I hit 4 fairways, 12 greens, and had 30 putts today.
June 20:
I teed off 14.30 today. I knew I needed to post a good number to make the cut. I played really solid on the front nine, hitting 8 greens and making 2 birdies and 7 pars. Started off the back nine with another tap in birdie, and then mist a couple of short puts on eleven and twelve. Continued with a three putt bogey and then another bogey on the 14th. I made a terrible double on 16 from 5 meters of the green. I made pars on the last two for a 72(+1). It was enough to make the cut, but I feel i left a lot of shots out there. If i can get the putter hot, tomorrow might be good. I hit 7 fairways, 13 greens, and had 31 puts. Tee off 8.20 tomorrow morning for third and final round.
June 19:
I teed off 8 a.m this morning for the first round of the tournament. I got of to a good start with solid shots, and good play. I was -1 thru three holes, and even par after five, because of a three put. From there on i started to hit some loose shots, and one sloppy mistake lead to another. it good pretty horrible out there, and there were a lot of unforced errors. I played 80, hitting 10 fairways, 9 greens, and with 34 putts. I tee off 14.30 tomorrow. I have a positive attitude, and i feel ready to play a lot better.
June 18:
I want to thank Byggmaker for a successful golf clinic on Wednesday, and I hope everything went well in their tournament that followed.
